Core, functional training, stability, plyometrics, nutrition, injury prevention . . .
"With all the catch-phrases, theories, fads, techniques, facts and fallacies regarding our health, how are we supposed to know where to turn and who to trust? Health and Fitness is a $14.1 billion industry, but who is there to guide us when we are ready to invest in ourselves?
I believe people should be empowered to help themselves. Health professionals should not only guide, but teach and encourage clients to find the fitness paths that work for the individual. My philosophy stems from a career as a physical therapist—a profession that not only heals, but teaches clients to take ownership of their bodies, injuries, symptoms, and future well-being. As a fitness professional, I also feel clients, rather than just following orders, should be informed—from the purpose of an exercise to the goals of a fitness plan.
While much of my experience stems from my work in the health industry, participation in sports, and a natural thirst for knowledge, I also realize there is more to know. If I don’t know the answer to a question I’ll find it. If I can’t provide a service, I’ll find someone who can. Summit Body & Sports Conditioning is committed to you, the individual. Let us earn your trust and find your potential."
